Three time women’s
pro champion Mary Osborne to join Go211.com Pro Team
Boston, MA (June 6, 2007) - Go211.com (www.Go211.com),
the premier action sports social networking and online video-sharing
site, was pleased to announce today that triple threat Mary Osborne
has joined the Go211.com Pro Team. Champion Longboarder, Tandem
Surfer and most recently acclaimed for her victorious sweep of the
Longboard Division on MTV’s “Surf Girls”; Osborne
is making her mark in the surfing world.
With her unprecedented skills and infectious personality,
Mary Osborne has been featured in such magazines as: Longboard,
Surfing, Surfer, Surf News, Surfer’s Path, Wahine, Surfer,
Surf Life for Women, Surfing Girl, Nalu, FHM, Entertainment Weekly
and Spin Magazine. She is also the first woman ever to grace the
cover of The Surfer's Path, a popular European Surf magazine.
In 2003, she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award
as “Best Female Athlete,” and was named the first “Action
Girl of the Year” by Action Girl, Inc. Co-authoring “Sister
Surfer: A Woman’s Guide to Surfing with Bliss and Courage”,
with fellow surfer
Kia Afcari, Osborne aspires to keep young women as the forerunners
of surf. “I feel very fortunate to be able to communicate
my dedication to supporting youths in this industry through the

and hope to be an inspiration to them.”
